Open Studios 2011
Exciting News!!! Queensboro Art Studios is gearing up for 2011 Open Studios! There are many new participating studios this year in a wide range of mediums. We all look forward to seeing you!
This will be a great year for Long Island CIty, the arts and participating LIC artists. There will be a lot of cross cultural, cross medium sharing going on, so come on out and get in the mix. Check out the LICArts link to for information on jam packed week of exciting events.

Open Studios 2010 was a special event. While there wasn't the high volume of visitors we experienced last year, many found the low-key quality very enjoyable. The ebb and flow was perfect and offered more time to engage with visitors in a meaningful way. In addition to painters and print makers of last year QAS included sculptors, a papier-mache artist, assemblage artist and photographers. A great mix!

Open Studio May 30th and 31st 2009
Open Studios 2009 (QAS's first!) was an exciting and successful event for all; we had two jam-packed days of visitors: friends, artists, curators and many guests from the general public. Meeting other LIC artists and visiting their studios was inspiring and a great community spirit builder. Out of Open Studios we began monthly studio visits to review and critique work as well as offering a time and place to share resources and information.
We look forward to Open Studios 2010!
