Located close to Queensboro Plaza in Long Island City, QAS has 10 sunny art studios in a terrific environment that is professional, friendly and cooperative. QAS is located near a major transportation hub. The studios are steps from the F train, a 6 minute walk from the N, Q and 7 Trains and a 10 minute walk from the R, V and E Trains. Bus service to Manhattan, Brookly and Queens locations are right around the corner and the bike path over the Queensboro Bridge a stone's throw away.
Neighborhood Places To Eat
At first glance our studios are in an industrial area. But no! Tasty local spots offer a variety of inexpensive places to grab a bite. Five Star Punjab's all-you-can-eat lunch buffet has excellent food; the two corner delis (one's Korean) make great sandwiches; a terrific Cuban restaurant has good homestyle fare and there's even a German / Bulgarian restaurant close by. Owners are all welcoming and once you're a regular (even just for coffee) you'll be greeted with a warm and welcoming smile.
